Deer Hair Premo Strips

Very high grade, tanned and dyed deer hair for spinning hair bass bugs. Available in Natural Brown, Bleached, Yellow, Orange, Gray, Tan, Golden Brown, Rusty Brown, Red, Green, Dark Brown, Blue, Olive, Olive Green, Purple, Black, Scuplin Olive, Black Raspberry, Fluorescent Chartreuse, Fluorescent Pink, Fluorescent Cerise, Dark Olive, Dark Dun. About 25 to 30 percent of a high quality late season northern whitetail hide has the longer 2" hair, and that is not on every deer. Many late season whitetail have hair that is only between 1 1/2" and 1 3/4". We do our best to have 2" hair available for customers that are tieing 1/0 and larger hair bugs. The shorter hair on these hides are useful for sculpin and muddler patterns, hoppers, extended body mayflies, etc. These hides come mainly from Minnesota, Wisconsin and some from Montana. The best hair for spinning and stacking comes from three whitetail subspecies, the Northern Woodland Whitetail, the Dakota Whitetail, and the Northwestern Whitetail.
